with a regular supply of such trifling articles as may in future be wanted - to send too much at once, the greatest part would be injured before it could be used - a few single magnifying glasses of different powers would be of essential service -

It was my intention to have penetrated into the interior up the river Correntyne, the last dry season, but was prevented by sickness: I still have the same thing in view; & if blessed with health, shall perform it the ensuing season -
