and new Animal, named here from its Colour and Hairiness, "the Native Devil".  Should he live to reach London, [Pidesch?] might exercise his Abilities in a famous Handbill.  The Devil from Van Dieman's Land, would excite some Curiosity.  I have directed the Master, in the Event of his Death, which I rather fear will happen, as I have not been able to prevail on him to taste any thing but raw Meat, to put him into Spirits (if he has any at the Time) or so preserve his Carcase, that Mr Home may be able to be acquainted with him.
