Honnourd Sir

That I take the great freedom of addressing this my letter to you is upon acct that yr  honnoble  Name is knowing through all the World as I did read in the New's Papers that a New Voyage was to be undertaken against the Nord Pole I have a Son which is much inclined for such a Voyage & Shd  much like to go for yr servt.  in the mean time I wd provide for all necessaries nor neither had he occasion for any wages. His age is so that it passes not 16 Years. I make further bold Honnourable Sir to ask this question & Desire from you, as I am particularly have been acquainted with one of your Worthy and honble  Name in the Year 1752 as the king of Prussia errected here on East India Compy may be is your good self it was at the time when Messrs Forbes & Dillon from Rotterdam Where here Directeurs  of that Compy & one Captn Thompson, Master & Commandr of the India men called the King of Prussia, that Mr Banks which was here in that time He was the Chief head of them all, had some Difficiency on one of His hand's and as I am not Wrong his right hand on some of His fingers
