London must be franked here, that is, the postage paid from Paris to Dover, which is a considerable expence, especially if the packets are large.  What I therefore propose to you is, that Her Majesty will be pleased to cause instructions to be given to the Ambassador at Paris, to receive weekly a packet, given by M. Pissot, and which he will forward to her by his couriers.  By this means the Queen will receive weekly, free of postage, the Journal de Paris & Le Mercure de France;  and the Tournaux des Savans & Encyclopediqur immediately on their publication.  As soon therefore as you inform me that the Ambassador is instructed to receive these packets, Pissot will instantly send to Her Majesty all the journals he has received since he subscribed for them;  and they will thus come sooner to hand than if they had been sent along with the parcel now to be sent to you.

I have not yet seen a print of the Lyons' ballon: but if there is one M. Pissot has promised to find it out, and sent it along with what he has collected for you on that subject.

I have not seen M. le Comte de Buffon since I received your letter, but the first time I see him I shall communicate what you say so ob[ligingly]
