professional Person entertains of that vessel (the Lady Nelson) induces me to think she would be a great acquisition to the Colony seeing how very unequal the Porpoise, and I apprehend the other Ship will be to approach near any Coast - I have no doubt of her getting very safely there, if she leaves England in July; Capt. Schank is positive in the same opinion; - now Sir, every other consideration on the subject must be deferred 'til I have the pleasure of seeing you, as the Schooner now in the Colony is in a rotten State, the necessity of this vessel being sent will appear more obvious, & the cost to Government is only £890, would not Lieut. Flinders be a proper Person to command such a vessel     I am
