Dear Sir

Mr Barrallier who will deliver you this will tell you his History or you will hear it from Mr Greville --- he has been obliged to quit the New South Wales Corps, but I think he is not [indecipherable] by the [indecipherable] imposed on him for a crime that is [indecipherable] for him by [art?] --- and cunning of my enemies & Col Patersons ---

I have always informed you of the Use he has been of to me & the public --- The enclosed are the Journals of his last Journey into the Mountains [indecipherable] he himself as a young Man of Talents and observation [?]  I refer you for any information you may wish to obtain with his Journal is also about of his own performance - Let me Sir
