Fishing
The long crawfish are traced in shallow
mud pools by the points of their antenna
stickig out of the turbid water. These
are seized and the crustaceans rapidly
hurled on to the shore bank.
Fish in shallow holes are driven
towards small inlets and then one
or two natives force them on to
the land by means of long bundles of
grass which are held horizontally in
the water. As they are pulled forward
the water filters back to the hole
but the rish are retained.
