It has always been my misfortune to strike a girl who became emotional as the hour of parting drew nigh. But these two were made of sterner stuff and were very sensible so that our parting was a cheerful event not a tearful one.
The girl working in the YMCA huts canteen and Salvation Army huts have had a strenuous & often a very rough time in England & France.
