delight. The hun airman brave as he may have been received no sympathy. We prepared for bed but the droning of powerful engines was again heard. We went out hoping to see another display of lights and skilful work by our own plane and were not disappointed. In less than a quarter of an hour we saw another one of the raiders coming down in flames. Again a great cheer broke out from the boys and this time we all went to bed and were not again disturbed during the night.
