Go for bath & change of clothes to Meaulte. Ride in train left Quarry Dump 1. p m. side tracked Fricourt. From there get car to Meaulte' G good luck. Lee

Lay abed till 10 a.m. scratch breakfast, wet wood & sulky fire. No 3 squad on cooking. Nothing doing all day. Fritz shells consistently & makes us remain
