I work for E.  I meet K and P on Quay & in tram. I again encounter P.P. in the evening & go to to N.S. for tea & talk. I go back to town after the kick out  and meet mum and

Saturday, 1 April 1922

I work at home all morning. We go to North Haslam Regatta which a violent southerly works up. We see nothing and go to George's place for chocs and then up fairy bBwer. At night we go to Band. We

Sunday, 4 June 1922

I go to Dee Why for films and lose 'em by theft. I get to N.S. Take photos and at 5 pm set out for Sid's place at Bondi. I get there at 6 and leave with Dad and Mother at 7 pm.  We catch 7.45 boat.

Tuesday, 13 June 1922

For once my unlucky day. I ring P.P. and meet her at night. I get the sack without warning. I am very down hearted and P.P. has nothing to give that cheers which makes matters worse. Mum has to go to

I go all over town. I get reference and no satisfaction much. Get job at E & C. Dine with Otto. 4.30 boat home and deliver Gat's order and then go to hospital. Ellis there. George and family

A fine mild day. The first for days. We put spare timber in boat shed. I clean up the tennis lawn and throw leaves sticks stones.etc on path. We play Solo for eggs at night and I win for only the

 I clean Mums costume, Dad goes to Manly. I ring Peters and Mrs M & H ring me. I catch the 4 pm boat. I go to P'matta but reluctantly go to evening at Wigram St. I am again received
