I go to Bondi.  Meet Lal Jones. She is very thin and worn out looking.  I sit and chat with them while E gets the food in from Rob.

We go to bed at 9 pm me out in the Ambulance on the

I get away at 9 to Stanmore stay to dinner & get 3 pm to Manly. Go to Westy's after ringing home & meet Miss N. McN. We have a a bright chat and I go home for tea to return to the Band.

I mess around waiting for H and C and telephone message. Big fire in Pitt. St. I go to Paddy's markets, Pog's and Otto's and catch the 8.30 boat. I am sick as a dog and and have to fool around

I take a bundle of wood nearly to Berry Street. Tea with Marie & K.  Back to No. 19. Music and we chat until a little after 9 pm. Coat looks good and photos are promising. We are jolly but I
