Paid in Egyptian money.
Shoeing horses in morn. On leave from 2 PM. Went out to Abbasia [Abbassia], saw Leiut Walker, rec. £2.8.0 for wages. Saw all our shipmates. Came back to Cairo with Mac & Cuningham. Went to the Kursaal Variety Theatre. Spent a very pleasant evening.
Motored home at 1 am.
Five N.S.W. men transferred for D.H. 2 to the 1st B.A.C.
