BRISTOL. FARM
Monday 17
If the rain keeps off this week will be one of the wildest weeks in history. Guns and munitions haunt me
Tuesday 18
Three oclock in the morn I am on picket, horses very quiet but the front line one blaze of fire and the fight as just began
Wednesday 19
The Batt. go into the fray tonight which will be the greatest battle of the war
God be with them and lead them to "Victory"
Thursday 20
It would have broken Germanys heart, if they'd have seen our boys marching into action singing & laughing like school boy's
