To St Omer with Lt. Maynard in this town there are girls of the woman's army, poor little English girls, at the mercy of the troop's

A perfect day, bright sunshine and blue sky's, spent by me in farm labour, just like being at home

Not yet one & washing done, but it was hard work for Madam kept me at it all the time
