encampment, but there again the monotonous of our daily routine became apparent. Mother and Father & the rest of the family as well as many of my friends visited me there, all of whom I was very pleased to see.We left Liverpool on the 22nd of Nov. for Broadmeadows, Victoria amid great excitement. Broadmeadows was even more disgraceful than Rosehill. The unsanitary conditions were terrible but were afterwards rectified. The work here was more advanced & we cherished in the change. Sham fighting, strategic positions n warfare, long marches & target practice were included in the general routine.
