Sunday, 19 August 1917
Fine & warm. I stayed in in the morning & wrote up some notes & cleaned up my gear. Went in to the flat for dinner, & wrote letters all afternoon. Aunty Mabel came in in afternoon for a bit & then Mum & I went out into Hyde Park for afternoon tea & had a walk round. Then had dinner at the Knightsbridge Hotel & I got home fairly early.
