After this Bomera Station changed handsa good many time I cannot think whatthe later hands names are. There was anold man taken a way by the name ofJoe Budsworth & an old man SamFreeman both those men were very feeblebut being such faithfully servants &Mr Towns being so kind hearted itwas his wishes for them to go to Windsor his home.
Oakey Creek not far from Bomera & Bandowere owned by two brothers William & Mathew Allison.Mathew Allison was a carpenter by trade &William was a squatter. In 57 & 58 they soldBando Station to some brothers by the nameof White. They came from Eden Lassie onthe Hunter River those people also bought twoother places near here Calga & Terridgerie.it fails me to remember who owned the twolast places mentioned at that time.Allison Brothers the rented their Oakeyproperty to another Mr James Allisonnot any relation. Mathew & WilliamAllison & a Mr Downie took up anotherstation Wingadee after some years they soldWingadee & returned to Oakey Creek & soldthe Oakey Creek property to this Mr JamesAllison for a good substantial some. The twoAllison brothers William & Mathew thenwent home to Scotland, Downie being anIrishman he went home to Ireland. Mr JamesAllison lived on Oakey Creek until his deathhis wife died there also & the property isstill belong to a Mr James Allison his sonwho owns Coomoo Coommoo another large & valuablehome.
