Mon. 6 December 1915Lres. from Rodd & Edna, answd. the former & finished Enid's lre., issue of bread & meat after about 3 weeks without. Childblains painful, tho' its mild. Kinipple drank wisely but not well. Did not play cards. Col. MA C. came back.
Tues. 7 December 1915On duty. Reced. "De Rezkes" from Katie (100) & lres. from Millions Club & p.c's from Alb of Mr. Thomas. Colder. Have yet to meet the Col. Lres. to Rodd. Many details rejoined. Canteen stores arrived – what of them there are.
Wed. 8 December 1915Called on Monty with the De Reszkes. Bought a watch off him for 10/- - he lent his old one to Arther Dowell. Playd. an indifferent game of cards in eveng. Heard we were going into firg. line. Spoke to the Col.
