of an accident to me at sea I desire you will take what part you please of those collections, and send the rest to Mr James Bruce, at the Excise office Edinb. he is nephew to my late worthy friend Mr Law, and keeps up his uncles curious collection in Natural History.

I will also beg you will procure a dispensing order or Letter from the Board of Commissioners of the Customs in London to the Collectors of the Customs at Bristol, for passing my Trunks and Jarr's, assuring them I have no rum coffee or other uncustom'd goods.
