1778 Octr. 26 - Left Samganoodha & steerd for towards Sandwich Isles
Novr. 26 - fell in with an extensive & Luxurious groupe of Isles to the Eastward of Sandwich Isles the 2 eastermost Mow-wee & O'Why-he. Stood off & on them & were abundantly supplied with hogs sows Breadfruit Taro Plantains &c.
Decr. 25 - weatherd the Eastermost
1779 Jan 17 - Anchord in a bay Calld Cara-Ca Coo-ah on the Western side of O'Why-he we were lavishly supplied. continued in the utmost harmony with the natives whose benevolence & friendship exceeded any thing we had ever before met with till.
