for the venison you intend to send him, & to hope express his hopes that you intend to partake of it;  I much fear that his sollicitations will be ineffectual unless you should think that a  little conversation between you & me upon the business of the publication might do good; in that you should not dislike another party uppon Whittlesea Mere; I believe Huntingdon is allmost halfway from London to Honcastle, you cannot conceive how agreeably you would surprize me if you would come & take up your usual quarters ay Hinchinbrook any time between the 25th and 30th of this month, which last is the day of the Mayors feast & I shall probably stay a week after the feast.

I caught eleven barbel last week in less than an hour, but they were all small.

I beg my best respects to your agreeable fire side.
