Right Honble Sir, On the [1st?] January last sailed from Amboyna for the Cape of Good Hope direct, H. M. Ship, Imperieuse Captain Rowley, by this ship I had the honor to send you two Boxes, containing Clove & Nutmeg Plants, four and five years old, the plants were well established in the Boxes, and with a little care they may arrive safe in England. The Honble [East India] Companys Ship Star, Lieut. Scott Commander, will sail for England in a few days, by this opportunity I have the honor to Send you the Seeds contained in the enclosed list.
