Sir,
The Court of Directors of the East India Company have commanded me to acknowledge the receipt of your Letter of the 29th Ultimo enclosing an Account of expences attending the purchase of Fruit Trees and Garden Tools sent on board the Ship Royal Admiral to be forwarded to the Company's Garden at Calcutta.
The Court have directed me to express their Thanks for the trouble you have been pleased to take in this business, I have also received the Courts directions to pay the said Account Amounting to £50.13s.8d which Sum I have now the honor to transmit you by the Bearer of this Letter.
