Account of disbursements by Sir Jos. Banks on account of Providing Fruit Trees & usefull Plants for the Companies garden at Calcutta & also of Providing Garden Tools for Mr. Smith the Companies Gardiner.  These all of which were sent out in the Royal Admiral.

Sir Jos. Banks was authorised by several of the Directors in a conversation he had the honor to hold with them when the business of sending  out Plant a Plant Cabbin was first resolvd upon to expend £25 in Purchasing Fruit Trees & usefull Plants to be sent in it & he begs to Remark that no Exotic Fruits were purchased that could possibly be spard from the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.

As the above articles are in Sir Josephs opinion absolute necessaries he continued to Purchase them without making application to the Court of Directors in order to save time & attendance not doubting that if the Court agree in opinion with him that they are necessary & that
