I have the honour to acquaint you that Mr Aiton has received his Majesties Command to Furnish the Botanic Garden at Cambridge with such plants as are wanted there & can be spared from the Collection in the Royal Gardens at Kew under my inspection. I am therefore to request that you will communicate to me at your Convenient [indecipherable] what Plants mentioned in the Hortus Kewensis you could wish to have & also the nature of the Conveniences you have for keeping of Plants in order that I may be enabled to Point out such of these that have been introduced since the time of that publication.
