Angel Inn Back of St Clements Church

26th March 1802

Sir

Permit me to aquaint you that I arrived at this Inn last night from the Ship Albion South Whales and this day I have been employed in delivering the public Dispatches insomuch that I have not been able to do myself the honour of waiting on you.

I have Letters & Packages in my Charge for you and tomorrow early shall proceed on board the Albion at Deptford for the purposes of getting your packages to hand and bringing with me the papers addressed to you after which I will take the Liberty of presenting myself before you with them.
