Mr. Burder presents his most respectful compliments to Sir Joseph Banks, and would be happy to know whether any opportunity has yet occurred for presenting to his Majesty's ministers the wish of the Missionary Society to obtain a free passage in the Canada (the transport Ship for female convicts) for the Missionaries intended for 'Taheite [Tahiti].

Mr. B is sorry to trespass on Sr Joseph's valuable time, but will think himself much obliged by a line.
