I think that the Leicestershire and Lincolnshire Breed would very much improve our flocks, could we obtain them. I have written to my Agent to purchase me two Rams; and requested Mr Campbell to bring them out provided Government will give Consent for them to come out to this country.  My Attention has been very much turned to improve our flocks, as far as we have the means of doing it; and have hitherto succeeded beyond my Expectation considering the poor original Stock we had to breed from.  Should the Drawing I have transmitted be worthy of your inspection, I shall feel myself gratified in having it presented to you.
