much more M. Banks. For when I went, I considered myself well equipped, and proud to say, could boast of that of mind rigor as but defiance to a rival. And the 3 men that I had, if the country had been picked, for strength & resolution better could not have been chosen.

PS.  It is fitting for 2 of the boxes for living plants to be sent up here by the first opportunity, and I will fill them with the plants I have in cultivation. The earlier such is done the better. If you trust to my map in placing M. Banks you will be deceived - for I only represented it merely to give an idea of the route.
