Sir,

I am sorry that I cannot fulfil your requests owing to my indisposition of health. There is no occasion of troubling Sir Joseph with a full account of every thing, and probably you will be of the same opinion, when I give you to understand he has informed me, that he has honored the accounts sent by the Glatton & Calcutta. The reason he wishes me to favor him with the account of receipts, is for to pay the money as early as possible which you advance to me. Whether you have kept a correct account or not he says does not matter.

The set of Bills which I gave you on the 30 of Oct 1804 you put down £37-17-4 but in my account it is for £35-17-4 and for the following articles

As you have returned me the last bill I gave you I omit sending you another by the return of the papers.  Waiting for your advice on the occasion.
