[Page 2]

By Mr. Christmas I sent a Copy of My expences with a Power of Attorney and a papper from the Contractor of the Butchery here.  He is a person who has shown me some civility.  He beged if I had interest with any person to lay before the Admirality as the propose lessening the price of Meat on certain conditions.  I know no person so proper as yourself, but at the same time I beg pardon for the freedom that I have taken on that account.

I am Sir
with the greatest respect
Yours.
Frans. Masson

Inclosed her is a copy of the above proposals.
