Capable of taking the Ground how much more so must the Lancaster (the ship for which we have petitiond[sic] your Lordship) be as all seamen Know that the bottoms of that Class of ship are flatter than any others employd[sic] in his majesties service for my own part I can only say that was your Lordship to think proper to let us have her for our intended expedition I would gladly embark on board a ship in
