This is the Full size I used & found it sufficiently Strong Plyant Iron, but not Limp

 A Mouse to prevent the Ring Cuttting the Pointing of the [Backett?], when its drove up with the Forse of entring the Fish.

This is an Eye splicd, & by going over the Harpoon, it  takes of the Strain that would lay on the seizing of the [Backett?]

The Line should be seized thus, to let the Shaft Quitt the Harpoon
