laudable young Scholar, & besides the usual Academic Attainments, has a Competent Acquaintance with the French Language. I am [persuaded?] He will, on many Accounts, be able to render himself very useful & acceptable to you.

you may depend upon the truth of what I have said above, and if you can make room for my little Oxford Friend you will greatly oblige
