I have laid before my Lords Commrs of the Admiralty your Letter of this day's date, relative to the Request of Mr Westall to be permitted to finish such of the Sketches he took whilst employed as Draughtsman on board His Majesty's Ship Investigator as my Lords may not have occasion for; And I am commanded by their Lordships to send you herewith the collection of Sketches, & to request you will be pleased to take the trouble of selecting such as Mr. Westall may be desirous of finishing or of making Drawings or Paintings from. I have the honor to be Sir
