had their Lordships directed the several stipends to be paid in Reward for these Services, nothing would have been deducted.

In all future Bills made out at this Office the word Salary must be continued until directions are received from the Admiralty to the contrary, and upon their Lordships further signifying their directions the amount already deducted will be repaid
