The [Hurd kings?] sometimes affix their presentments on the Church doors of the Parishes at other times but it has not been done above 4 times in 12 years and when it is done it is generaly in an illiterate manner in 1780. the notice was affixd to the [Vestry?] church door   Richd Hall of Sibsey gave it to the Clerk Mr. Pocklington Shepherd  Thos Motley says that his name was not in the notice as he was told those who stood near  the church door by John Turner Clerk now dead and Robt  Dauber
as his name was not in the List his  announcement was not taken.
