Anthony [Shun?] amerced [fined] for the Fences in [Newfoundland?], being he says he did not occupy any Land which abutted upon the Fen at the time the amercement was laid except two​ four [Cleres?] & 20 acres and as seven acres later in the occupation of  a 4 acres & 6 acres his brother James [Shun?] occupied at that time.  The [Cleres?] which were amerced they are a seven acre & a 5 acre late Coopers.

Shun told the Bailiff he had been amerced before the Tenant who Proceeded him and put the Fences into repair consequently it is likely the amercement was made before the [nottary?] had [dirded?] the [take?] he paid.
