He shewd me a Rafter managd this way which certainly bore more fruit & Fairer than any two others.
He covers the stems of this Fruiting vines in the vine house with small Trunks of wood during a frost & says he is sure that without such precaution the covering in frost commencation would be cut off & the vines prevented during cold weather from working within.
