Dear Sir Joseph

Can you tell me whether these Gentlemen had a regular faculty from the B's [Bishops] of Lincoln?  If they had, and there was no Appeal from that Faculty, I fear that the Matter can hardly be pursued with Effect in any Court of Justice.
