Admiralty Office. 18th. Novemr . 1811
Sir,
Captain Matthew Flinders having made application to receive pecuniary aid while employed in preparing for publication the account of his late voyage in His Majesty's Ship the "Investigator"; and directions having been given by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to the Navy Board for impresting to Captain Flinders the sum of two hundred pounds which is to be carried to the debit of the work, and included in the expense thereof; I am commanded by their Lordships to acquaint you therewith.
