Sir

Mr. Salisbury has rather been too sanguine in informing you that I have appointed you head Gardiner to the bread fruit ship   the Fact being that Ship the Fact being that no such ship is yet Provided  I have however no reason to doubt that a ship will very soon be orderd in the Service of Procuring bread fruit in case if I am calld upon to recommend I mean certainly to recommend you for one of the Gardeners & unless some one else
