I rejoice most sincerely to find that your Graces sentiments regarding the Posthumous descriptions of our Late Friend Dr. Solander are so perfectly similar to my own.  I lament much that the course of my natural history pursuits has not led me to the subject of shells sufficiently to render me capable of supplying the defects which will be found in them was I able I should most [indecipherable] accept the task For the correction of the [indecipherable]
