unfinished papers they were published under the inspection of the Academy of Sciences at Copenhagen by a man who in the opinion of that Society was competent to the work yet we find in this publication a description of a fish endowed with the property of the Torpedo of whom a description is given & it would appear from the book except only that it is absurd to be believed that Greeks mistook this species of [indecipherable] probably the most remarkable fish in the Nile for the common series Torpedo mistaking at once the species genus order & Class

Should your Grace agree to the propriety of this proposal I should with great pleasure undertake to correct the press for the purpose of ascertaining this to be always done
