I see no reason at present why the Society should not lend you the Mss in Question but as I am bound by my office to Follow the accustom'd precedents of the Society in all matters which concern their Property I must enquire into the usual mode of Lending things of that nature & follow it whatever it is. 

as I wish well to your Publication I shall in all in course give you all the assistance
