Sir I humbley implore your Pardon for the liberty I have taken in Addressing those lines but the favours your generosity conferd my father who had the honore of saling with you has induced mee  his orphan to take the Liberty I have bin this [4?] years imployeld, in his Majestys Dockyard at Woolwich in the Capicity of a Laborer and My Wagges being not Not Safishent  to Saport, an infant family and haveing no entres with the presant Master Ship Wright induced me To Take this Liberty of So Liciting from your Honore a Line To Make Me a Saweyer and trust if your Honore  will Take the [trouble?] that My Charicter, Will bear the Strictest Scruteney and your pettioner, Will be in Dutty, Bound to pray for you as Long a Life. Exests, and Remains yours Honors Dutyfull Obedient and Humble Servt,
