The proposal is to be that the British Museum on behalf of the public should purchase the Collection of the la Statuary belonging to the late Charles Townley Esq.re at his decease consisting of Marbles, Models & Cust Terra Cotta's & Bronzes, for which the public shall pay the sum of £20,000 if approved of by Parliament - together with and the nomination of two Trustees to shall be vested in perpetuity in the Townley family -

We the undername whose names are underwritten being the person in whom the above property is vested by the late Mr. Ch- Townleys Will, do hereby express our readiness to accede to the above proposal
