and not doubting but you will all feel the ignominy that will ever attach to me if it will appear I have only acted within the law.  Such to me, Gentlemen, will afford no compensation for being thus publicly arraigned, and with that firm reliance which it betroveth me, I confidently submit to your decision.

Sentence 

The charges in part proved, and therefore the Court to adjudge Captain William Bligh to be reprimanded and admonished to be more correct in future in his language.
