The undersigned (who are both young Men the one Married and the other single) being desirous to go to New South Wales as free settlers, and being informed that you were the Gentleman proper to be applied to on such subjects We have take the liberty of acquainting you in this way of our inclinations with the view of having our intentions more speedily carried into effect. And should it so happen that we having been wrong informed we hope you will have the goodness to excuse this Intrusion and We are
